About the Role:

The position reports to the Production Manager and supports the execution of the production plan. This role is responsible for staffing, discipline, compliance with standards, etc. coordinating the line team(s) in operational activities and ensuring the presence of production factors on the shift.

Multiple Openings:

1st Shift (6a-3p)

3rd Shift (10pm- 7am)

Mon- Fri with occasional Weekend Hours

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily activities for the optimization of the production factors (material, methods, labor force and machineries) providing all necessary information to Line responsible and Production Manager with the usage / handling of the single shift.
• Responsible within the shift for all production phases of their areas of competence with-in the assigned UGP. (Preparation, Molding, Enrobing, Packaging)
• Oversees the inventory inside their area of responsibility.
• Responsible for the presence of packaging/raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods for the successive shifts through the coordination with the person in charge of the production line. 
• Knowledge of production lines and machinery (production performance indicators, technological processes)
• Knowledge of stock management and production models
• Knowledge of planning techniques
• Knowledge and application of production performance analysis methods
• Knowledge and application of Ferrero Safety, Quality and Sanitation policies and procedures
• Knowledge and application of production KPI’s

Who we are looking for:

• 4-7 years of supervisory experience
• Strong communications skills in a multi-cultural environment.
• Demonstrated ability to direct production employees in an initiative-taking and positive manner.
• Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technological problems.
• Demonstrated team building skills;
• Knowledge of production scheduling
• Human resource management skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a shift environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
