Key Responsibilities: · Install, troubleshoot, and repair security systems, including fire alarms, intrusion alarms, and access control systems.
· Ensure that installations are in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety codes.
· Test and troubleshoot systems to guarantee functionality and adherence to required standards.
· Communicate effectively with customers to provide excellent service and maintain strong client relationships.
· Collaborate with team members and managers to ensure timely project completion.
Requirements: - Experience with field installations in security systems (fire alarm, intrusion, access control).
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems (e.g., EST, Honeywell), intrusion alarms, glass break detectors, door strikes, access control systems, and other low-voltage technologies.
- Valid certifications in relevant technologies and knowledge of industry standards
- Valid State issued Fire Alarm & Burglar Alarm Licenses
- (e.g., NICET, NFPA).
· Ability to travel for several weeks at a time.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mentality.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.
- Has basic PPE, and reliable transportation during the training period prior to issuing a company vehicle
- Computer/laptop/smartphone proficiency.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.
- Highly proficient with the use of email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn internal systems.
Hourly Wage: $25 - $45/hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
