The Hillsboro Club, an exclusive oceanfront private residence club in South Florida, is seeking an Bartender to provide an excellent drinking experience for our members at our gorgeous property. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a wide variety of drinks to our valued members, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This is a fast-paced, customer service-oriented position that requires excellent communication skills and a passion for the hospitality and restaurant industry. 

The Club operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The ideal candidate for this role must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This is a part-time, hourly position with a competitive compensation of $18 - $20 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, our employees also have access to health insurance, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

General Requirements

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and club members. 

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end or upscale restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and other beverages.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid bartending license in the state of Florida.
